The Valtrevio Partners Team

The strength of our work depends entirely on the quality of the people who produce it. Valtrevio Partners is built around a small team of senior professionals who bring direct transaction experience from investment banking, private equity, and corporate finance roles. We do not assign clients to generalist analysts — every engagement is led and reviewed by professionals with relevant sector and transaction-type experience. The following team members lead our client mandates.

Marcus Thornfield

Managing Partner, Valuation Practice

Marcus has spent over eighteen years advising on private company valuation across M&A, restructuring, and regulatory contexts in Europe and North America. He previously led the valuation advisory group at a mid-market investment bank before founding Valtrevio Partners alongside his co-founders. He holds a CFA designation and an MBA from a leading European business school.

Isabelle Carmont

Partner, M&A Research & Due Diligence

Isabelle brings fifteen years of buy-side due diligence experience, having worked with private equity funds focused on healthcare services and technology infrastructure transactions. Her practice at Valtrevio Partners focuses on building the commercial and financial analysis that underpins acquisition decisions. She is known among clients for the clarity and directness of her written findings.

Daniel Weserberg

Director, Transaction Analytics

Daniel specialises in financial modelling, deal structure analysis, and synergy quantification for mid-market and large-cap transactions. He joined Valtrevio Partners from a restructuring advisory boutique where he spent eight years advising on distressed M&A and operational turnarounds. His technical modelling work forms the quantitative backbone of our transaction support engagements.

Priya Nandakumar

Director, Institutional Research

Priya leads Valtrevio Partners' institutional research capability, producing private market opportunity assessments and sector briefings for fund managers and long-term investors. She has a background in private equity fund analysis and alternatives research, with particular depth in industrials and real assets. Her work is designed to give institutional clients the analytical perspective they need before committing capital to less liquid positions.

Stefan Halewicz

Senior Analyst, Financial Modelling

Stefan is responsible for the construction and quality review of financial models across Valtrevio Partners' active engagements, ensuring consistency, auditability, and accuracy across all quantitative deliverables. He holds a master's degree in financial mathematics and has previously worked in structured finance and LBO modelling roles. Clients frequently comment on the transparency and navigability of the models he produces.
